Hello I was wondering does anyone know where to buy aftermarket cooling for 5850? I currently have mine clocked to 950/1240 @ 1.2v I have custom fan profile and it maxes at around 50-60% reaching temps around 72-74C. I can't stand how loud the fan. It the only thing I hear from my pc. Lol it goes through my noise canceling headset =/ But yea my question is what are good coolers for 5850 that isn't too expensive and where can I buy?

You may be able to use this ZEROtherm GPU cooler. One reviewer indicates use on a HD 5850:

You can definitely use this Zalman product, but from the reviews you need to be VERY careful installing:

Good luck!!!

PsychoSaysDie is right, if you are willing to take the plunge (no pun intended), you can get greater performance (and cost) from a liquid cooling solution. The question is how much do you want to spend? You could go super cheap and just add another fan blowing directly onto your 5850's heatsink to augment the fan it has. Not elegant, but increases airflow.

Yep, the 5850s are pretty awesome. I have one in my main gaming machine. I get nearly the performance of the 5870 at quite a bit less cost. Great "budget" GPU!
