Need help for gaming rig

Hi,I need some help assembling a mid range gaming rig.........I have a budget of 700USD


I got a decent monitor and DVD writer and I am comfy with the current Kb and mouse
So I need to put the 700USD for a processor,mobo,gfx,casing,psu

here are my current specs........

2x2gb ram 2.6k in INR-indian rupee
250gb hdd 2.4k in INR
creative 5.1 inspire T5300 3.5k

so it comes around 8k in INR approx some170USD


So I got around 450USD for a card,mobo,core and a good cabinet with clearside
set apart a 80$ for casing,PSu and cooling
so how do i spend a 450 usd on core card and mobo??
will 45nm E7300(2.4ghz l2 3mb 1033fsb)c2d+intel Dp43tf classic+nV9600 gt do??

or should i go for amd
and mobo-which is b8r intel or asus msi gigabyte with same chipset??
and which is the best chipset for my budget???p43/g43/p45/g45??
and currently i am not thinking of o/c..
should i buy a E6850 65nm with b8r specs(3ghz 4mb 1333fsb) for the same price because it is b8r for o/c

which is btr the 45nm or 65nm???
and will 2xlow end cards @trisli or crossfire do any better than 1 mid card??
which is better??ati or nvidia???

I dont want to pay for unwanted features
nor do i want to pay more for slight or even no advntges.....
but i need a spec that wont be outdated even before I assemble it....
and with given specs will i need a thermal solution other than the fans??
