Striker II Formula

I am wandering what is a suitable CPU for the ASUS Striker II Formula? My price range is around 300 AU dollars.

I'm not sure what your intending with "this CPU". ASUS Striker II Formula is Intel x38/x48?? I would say if yor looking at LGA 775, go for an E8400/E8500, or at least a Q9400 if you want a Quad. Otherwise I'm not to sure, you need to give some more info here. Otherwise, wait, Intel has "i5" on scedule for June/July. Core i7 920 is the only other thing thats worth it, at this point.
