I just installed a 9800 GTX+ on a Dell XPS 700. After downloading and installing the latest drivers, I tried to adjust the settings and the very MAX setting is 1280 x 1280. How is that possible? This card is supposed to allow for double that. :cry:

Any ideas?

im not sure what romulus scary clown meant
but it may be that your video card isnt getting an edid from your display correctly
make sure the monitor comes up as plug and play
it supports up to
Max Resolution 2560 x 1600

Thanks for the replies, guys! Yes, it is DEFINITELY the monitor. I tried my trusty old 20-inch tube monitor and the resolution got a lot better already.
