Well I bought an Asus P6T motherboard and it came with a bent pin. The store I bought it from wont replace it because apparently bent pins are considered physical damage and assumed that I bent it. The pin is bent in such an awkward angle it would be impossible for me to do such damage, I didn't even hook up the motherboard. The question I have is will Asus be able to do anything for me if I call them directly? If they cant do anything about it ,I'm going to try an unbend the pin myself.
I also have another question. If Asus does not do anything for me, I might have to buy a new motherboard. I'm obviously not going to buy another Asus product if that is the case. The question I have is if I get the EVGA X58 motherboard. Can I use BFG video cards with it and not have it cause problems? My guess is that it shouldn't cause any compatibility issues, but these two companies seem to be competing against each other so I don't know what to think. I have 2 BFG GTX280s.
