Hello guys.

Im gonna buy a new video card and dont have lot's of money.

I found this 2 that are affordable for me and wanted to get some feedback on which one will do his job better.

Here are the cards:

XFX PVT95GZAFG GeForce 9500 GT 1GB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card - Retail

SPARKLE SFPX95GT1024U2H GeForce 9500 GT 1GB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

Im gonna be running the card with a AMD Athlon X2 2.7Ghz and 2gb of ram.
Not sure about which board yet but looking into it. Any ideas?

Well thanks for your prompt response.

wow!!!! nice picks thanks. i was been fooled cause i saw on the others that they have 1gb of memory but actually they wont do the trick for some games and applications. After reading some reviews the ASUS EAH4830 is a very good card but i have this thing with ATI i dont know why.... But i think that because of what i read i might try it. But for personally i loveeee! the ZOTAC ZT-96TES4P-FDR GeForce 9600. The first one is good but is 128-bit and for 10 bucks more im getting 256-bit on the ZOTAC.

thank you guys.

by the way any recommendations on a board that supports athlon 64 x2.

Thanks again

he said want GF 9500 GT so i compare to HD4650 that' same Price and alot better
so u can't compare Geforce 9600GT with HD 4650 or even 4670
because first all GF 9600GT need extra Power connector :(
look different between HD4670& GF 9600GT n power uses
http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3405&p=9
and if u compare it to the price we can put HD 4830 here against GF 9600 GT
ASUS Radeon HD 4830 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 ($68.99 after $20.00 Mail-In
Rebate ) :sol:

BTW HD4830 Blows both GF 9800GT and GF 9600 out of water with amazing Price :kaola:
see why the call it GF 9800GT killer :D

Thanks everyone for your comments.

After i read all this i did some research on the HD 4850 and i was very pleased with what i saw but is a bit expensive for my budget at least the ones i saw where from 140 dollars and up. Definitely gonna get this one if i get some more money.

I'm still very convinced with the ZOTAC GeForce 9600 GT anyhow i was recommended this other card the
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 3850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 m
A friend referred me this card that he has been using and he says it works flawlessly for the price.

What you guys think?

Anyhow i trust you people so give me your votes :D

A) ZOTAC GeForce 9600 GT
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500077
B) ASUS or SHAPPIRE Radeon HD 4830
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121289
C) Your Pick that is not any of those under 95 dollars.

I am open for opinions any suggestions please don't keep them to your self's :non: :pfff:

BTW what power supply wattage will i need to run this cards.

Well thanks again for your prompt responses

i m right now using 8600 gt 512 MB,sparkle..................with dedicated memeory.......

while my one friend has.. XFX,8600 GT,256 MB dedicated...

i m using 2.8 GHz,Pentium D,with 1.5 GB RAM...

one thing i have to tell u....

i have one HD video with resultion of 2000*1500 sumthing like that.....it cant be played on ma SPARKLE 8600 GT,.......

while it is frequently played over ma friend's XFX 8600 GT....

2nd thing.....

while playing HD videos on sparkle... FAN speed increses n makes noise.....while this problem does not ocuur with XFX ............

so....every way..... XFX is must preferreble.............it's worth paying a bit more for it............

after all......sparkle is Taiwan based company...so....there should be quality based difference in compare to XFX........... :bounce:

for a guy from india.....have to told u that...in GUJRAT, recently
XFX 9600GT,1 GB ,DDR3 graphic card is available for 3300 RS only.........recently 6000 RS decrease in XFX graphics card....

so make sure wat u r going to buy n wat r u paying....
