i am looking to upgrade my video card,and i need help trying to find out which one is rigth for my pc, right now i have a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X, and need to upgrade enable to play games that require 256 MB (nVidia GeForce 6600/ATI Radeon X1600), i have a dell deminsion 8300. thanks

I`d look to the X1600 PRO, you only have 250Watts and 10A on your PSU 12v rail, anything more on an old PSU like this will be asking for trouble.
Something like this in fact;

that would work for mine you think even though i have DDR instead of DDR2 ?

No problems, video memory is seperate from main memory, you`re good to go.
