Need help with hard drives

Hi guys i need help with raid and selecting parts...
i have 2x seagate baracuddas 7200.12 500gb hard drives that i just ordered
i am wanting to put them into raid 0 config and was wondering what do i do? i thought it was best to have 2 hard drives in raid for only os and a different hard drive for storage? what do i do?

Before you continue, please take a look at this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAID - and it will give you some ideas what to do next.
For me, raid 0 on 2 HDDs is the same as a single HDD because if 1 HDD goes bad on raid 0, data on both drives won't be accessable and recoverable.
