Hello!

I was looking to see if I could get some opinions on a system build for mainly playing World of Warcraft.

I'd be looking for something around the $700 price range, if possible. I'd also like to have at least 4GB of RAM. I'd prefer a good brand motherboard as well, just to be safe.

No need to include keyboard/mouse/monitor/etc in build.

Thanks for your help in advance, I'm new to the realm of computer building!

Look at the articles on Tom's hardware about System builder's Marathon, particularly the $650 ones from Nov and Dec. Nov's CPU was better than the newer build. Otherwise the newer parts work together fine.

Not as powerful as tom's 625.00 build but just as upgradeable and with the exta 100 or so you can put it anywhere you need to, including that phenom II when prices go down a bit.

I would go for a slightly faster dualcore tho. maybe this

or this

And maybe see if the Integrated Graphics on the 780g motherboard is good enough for ya. I'd hold off on the video card just yet...

I got my 4850 for under $120 with rebate.
