Hi, I have a server and then I have mapped a number of drives to it from my system. I somehow managed to prompt a 'logon' screen, at which point i just typed the system user and password (which was not the server one, and failed) realised this clicked logon as other user and typed 'everyone' which got me in and worked. Now however, throughout the day the drives will disconnect and I get 'the device name is already in use' error, or the specified network name is no longer available'.

I know all the network is fine because all the other base stations on the network (and the mapped drives on the old server) are still working fine.

I think I need to basically reset the saved passwords my computer has for the server, but I dont know how to.

Kind Regards,

Peter Chapman
