Flashing (not that kind)

I have the Gigabyte MA790GP-UD4H mobo and they have a bios download on there website. Will that download and flash my bios automatically or is it more complicated than that?

Hi

I don't have a Gigabyte board but I wouldn't recommend flashing from within the Windows environment for any board. DOS flash by USB stick, floppy, or CD in that order, good luck.

Thank you ! I might just stick with what i have and just overclock. I'm pretty nervous about the whole flashing thing.

also is there a program that i can use to monitor temp and everything of my cpu without having to go into bios everytime ?

I can't recommend RealTemp because it only supports Intel. Have you checked to see if Gigabyte has temp monitoring software on their product CD? If not there are apps out there for monitoring AMD temps, Google it.
