Could you please smell the rear grill of the PSU and tell me if you get some kind of smell? The back of mine smells like just hot air. But just to confirm it isn't overheating. Does yours smell like pure air? If there's a slight smell of air that makes you want to take your nose away, that's enough to console me. Oh, and its sitting outside the case. No fans blocked. Cables go in through the PSU hole.

I see you got the new psu. Brand new psu's usually give off a faint odor when first started up. It should go away after a couple of hours of operation.

Yes, after a few hours of operation the faint odor should go away.
