i used ati ccc auto tune and it got a pretty good oc but when i open gpu-z it shows no change in clock speeds, it does show fan speed change but not core/shader and memory clock. i have the latest version of gpu-z i just downloaded last night (new home built gpc) and it also show it as radeon 4800 series. any help would be great. thanks

As long as it reads correctly in the CCC thats all that matters.

Dont know any with OSD, sorry. I just use the CCC for all my needs. Best thing you can do is keep the CCC open to see temps and run ATI tool or OCCT to put the GPU at 100%. Will give you an idea of what its at under games.

ok thanks, i auto tuned it and it runs great. its at 675/core/shader and 1153/memory and i manually set fan to 65% and it never goes higher than 64C so im ok i think. this is my first ati since radeon 9250 and its awesome i really like that xfx is making ati because im not familiar with the ati partners. i always used evga/xfx for nvidia, but thanks for your help

oh i just noticed that even though ccc shows the oc on the sliders under current value it shows stock speeds, why? does the card downclock for heat reasons like the gtx 260/280?

Downclocks while idle.
