Removing cmos battery

how do you remove the cmos battery in the acer travelmate 2480

They're all the same. Just locate the battery and you just push down on it (softly I might add) and depending on your motherboard you'll have to loosen some pins or somehting.

well, i would suggest not removing it yourself, take it to a shop and have them do it. dissasembeling a laptop and reassembeling it takes time and you are almost certain to lose a screw or 9 along with not being able to fit everything back in.
