I keep hearing Antec Three Hundred, but at the same time, I've heard that the cooling isn't stellar, and that the series is only really good for building quiet builds (which I definitely don't need).

I don't need 640GB, but I found the 500GB model on mwave for the same price I had the Seagate at, so I'll go with that instead.

I changed my motherboard, too, so I updated the first post to reflect that.

Thanks for the input; I'll reconsider the Antec Three Hundred, though.

BroSaw, I know you're looking at a budget gaming syetem, but this case is absolutely fantastic and if you happen to get a bit of money in the future, the expansion possibilities is phenomenal. The NZXT Tempest is on sale right now at NewEgg for $79.99 if you get the rebate (free shipping! case shipping can run expensive, up to 25 bucks), and it is a monstrous mid-tower...almost the same size as a full tower! It has six fans, and it should be something you should keep in mind.

I'm going to build a system with that as my case next week and, from what I've heard, it can fit anything thrown at it. The 4870 is a particularly large card, and this baby can fit two of them with over an inch to spare.

Good luck!

Mike

Oh man, that's a seriously nice looking case. I dunno if I have the money to afford it, though (if the rebate were instant, maybe).

The X2 7750 is comparable to the e8000 series (apparently beats out the e5200/e7000 series from what I've heard), and costs about half the price.

Quit with the stigma, AMD has been improving recently
