Hi All,

I own a Seagate Sata 1 TB HDD. One of my roomie playing with it broke the plastic supportive for the data pins,

For now the HDD is getting detected but the plastic supportive is stuck in the Sata cable...I guess i cannot continue this forever...

Any suggestions how to get this repaired??

Regards,

VJ.

Same happened to me once. I got a SATA power module from the computer market and had it soldered to my drive.... Cheap

I sold off that computer long back. Go to some computer shop and ask the guy for the interface chip from some fried hard drive and get the required part removed and soldered to your drive.....
