I have got Sims Deluxe Edition with Makin Magic, Vacation, Hot Date and
Superstar on W2k and it locks up every time I try and save the game.
Otherwise the game runs fine. Graphics card is Via/S3g KM400
Any ideas please?

Thanks

Wrecked em waved a magic wand at the 'puter, changed into a moose

The usual reason for a crash on a save is an object for an expansion you
don't have installed. Since you are missing House Party and Unleashed, it's
probably an item that needs one of those. Get Sims Categorizer from
Paladin's Place (http://www.simwardrobe.com), and scan through your objects
to see if any need one of those expansions.

Does turning off the HTML option (sorry, can't remember exactly how it's
marked) help?
