Hi Everyone,

Not so long ago, my old computer came under some technical difficulties ( it broke ! ) and my pc supplier were charging stupid amounts of money for small things like transport and diagnostic, so i have come to the conclusion that i am going to build a new system out of seperately brought parts.

I am a computer novice with basic knowledge of internal parts ( what is what .. ), but i don't know anything about what goes with what to get the best performance etc. Im not looking for a super computer, i want something which runs smooth and has above average graphics, all for around £500 - £600, or less if possible.

If anyone can give me a list of hardware and a price list i would be grateful.

Thanks for any help.

So I take it this is a home computer that will be used for spreadsheet and wordprossing as well as some gaming, but not hard core? What monitor do you have?
