Alright so I've been having computer problems for the last few weeks, i finally determined that its the Memory that is causing the problem. I have a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R SLI Motherboard with G.Skill 6GB Tri-Channel Memory (3x 2GB Sticks) Using MemTest86, i tested each individual stick and alone they all work, however when i added 2 or 3 sticks, it refuses to work I've tried - Manually setting the Voltage to 1.6V - Manually setting the Timings to 7-7-7-18 (which is displayed on the stick) - Manually setting to 1333 Nothing seems to work So... i called Newegg and the are giving me a refund for the RAM, however now i need to find 6GB of RAM, Brand doesn't matter that much, that will work with my motherboard Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R For reference: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] -bsod-help (Thread i posted about the problem)
Any ideas?
try crucial or ocz should be fine
