Have been wanting to build my own PC for a while and was on here a month or two ago doing some preliminary research, I am wanting to build a games machine on around £400-£500, hopefully with a quad core processor over clocked a little. Here is what I came up with a couple months ago but now I actually have all the cash I need to build it, I was wondering if there where any better parts than these or any other suggestions of what to get in my price range?

Intel Quad Core Q6600 2.4GHz S775

Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R Intel P45 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

Gigabyte Radeon 4850 1GB DDR3 CC 700MHz PCIE 2xDVI

Upgrade to GA-EP45-UD3P, it will give you the Crossfire option for later. Get a 550W or bigger PSU.

Check www.overclockers.co.uk and www.ebuyer.com and www.scan.co.uk too, see who has the best prices.
