P6T DELUXE OC PALM X58 BOOTS SLOWER THAN INTEL P35 & P45 BOARD?

Hi Everyone,

I just bought the P6T DELUXE OC PALM mobo and so far Im NOT impressed after spending £265 on the board!! I was expecting this system to fly compared to my other 2 systems running P35 & P45.

My main concern at the moment is to get it booting fast. I know this seems to be a problem with the p6t deluxe after googling around. My P45 boots in 19sec...the p6t x58 deluxe boot is around 45sec+

I heard the evga x58 3x sli boots in 20sec flat on the same ssd (30gb ocz vertex) so I assume the x58 is not the problem...

Is there a fix for this? I tried absolutly everything and its def down to the mobo.

-Tried 1-6 sticks of ram.

-tried different ram.

- tried xp, vista & w7 all the same results.

-removed everything from sata ports (ICH10R), only left ssd with W7 64BIT.

-Disabled pretty much everything in the bios to help.

-swaped tested with other mobo's. works very fast on P35 & P45 MOBO'S but not on p6t deluxe. Still slow boot

-upgraded & downgraded bios (1102,1403,1504) all the same results.

Please Help. Im just about to RMA this board if I cant get this resolved
