Heres what i have

Motherboard- ASUS M4A79 Deluxe AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard

Cpu AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor Model HDZ955FBGIBOX - Retail

I want 2 sticks of 2 gig ddr2 at 1066 each for now with the option of adding to more of the same later but my motherboard has this disclaimer *Due to AMD CPU limitation, DDR2 1066 is supported by AM2+ / AM3 CPU for one DIMM per channel only which i dont understand

I was looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820231166 can somone just tell me if i could but 4 of those in my motherboard and have it work?

It means that only two 1066 MHz modules are supported. You can't add more memory later on unless you run them at 800 MHz. By default 1066 MHZ modules run at 800 MHz.

thanks that makes sense. Is it worth getting 2 at 1066 and 2 at 800 for a gaming pc? would it be better if i just had all 4 at 800 or just 2 at 1066?

Why do you want to fill all the RAM slots ?
Just get 2x2GB 1066MHz RAM...You wont be needing more than 4GB for gaming and other general usage...
