I have a Pcchips M925ALU v 5.0a. I know it will take a Williamette processor. Will it take a Prescott or Northwood processor? I have exhaused all of the research options I can think of, that is why I am asking here.

It won't take any 800 fsb prescotts or northwoods. It's a 533 fsb board with via chipset. If you want to run a northwood or prescott, you'll need a different board, such as one with the 865 Intel chipset. Computer geeks may have some.

Thank you for the reply. Just to clarify, will my mobo take a 533 fsb northwood? I assume no, but just wanted to check. If it is not too much trouble, I have a follow up question. What about a Celeron processor. Just so you know, I have tried to research my question for many hours and I am on this forum asking because I could not find a clear answer. Btw, for anyone interested, for me, trying to get any info from Pcchips was impossible.
