This is my first attempt at building a computer. I have to get everything except keyboard and mouse. I've got all the parts ready to order, just wanna know what you guys think, and if there is anything I am missing

Case - APEVIA X-JUPITER-JR G-Type X-JPJGT-BK Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Motherboard - EVGA 132-BL-E758-A1 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

Processor - Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor Model BX80601920

CPU cooler - Sunbeam CR-CCTF 120mm "Core Contact Freezer" CPU Cooler

Memory - CORSAIR XMS3 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TR3X6G1333C9

Video Card - BFG Tech BFGEGTX2801024OCE GeForce GTX 280 1GB 512-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP (2 of them for SLI)

Sound Card - Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer 7.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound Card

Harddrive - Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

DVD - LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner Black IDE Model DH-20A4P-04

Power Supply - Thermaltake W0131RU 850W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI NVIDIA SLI Certified NVIDIA QUAD-SLI APPROVED 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Monitor - SAMSUNG 2433BW High Glossy Black 24" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor

Speakers - Logitech G51 155 watts RMS 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers

My main concerns are 1) is the case big enough? 2) do I have enough power to run this beast? and 3) Is the case and air flow good enough and do I need additional cooling because I do plan on overclocking the processor and the memory cards.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot guys!

P.S. I keep wondering if its better to buy 2 gtx 280 or a gtx 295. With the current price drops and rebates, two gtx 280's are only about forty dollars more than the gtx 295.

Everything sounds good. Except Case. The Apevia is a mediocre case at best. A $1500 system on a $80 case?

Add a bit more to your budget. Personally choices that I would pick :

Antec 1200
Antec 900.1 or 900.2

NZXT Tempest

CM 830 EVO
CM 690
CM HAF

Thermaltake Armour series
Thermaltake V9 Black Edition

nice, thanks guys, im going to change it to an Antec 900 case. I am planning to overclock the CPU though, do you think I have enough in terms of cooling?

Antec 900.1 or 900.2 should provide plenty of cooling for your system. Only drawback of the 900.1 is it doesn't have wire management.

The new 900.2 has management holes, and a painted interior. However it cost about $40 more than the 900.1
