If anyone here has successfully unlocked the 4th core, tell me how they did it. Like, is there a certain clock speed or voltage that it has to be on, or which BIOS they used...

oh, and i got the processor on March 5th, which probably means i have more of a chance of unlocking it than those who got it later. i think...

Mine's F3 on that mobo, will it work with your way of unlocking it? I know the ACC option, but i am a bit to scared to screw around without knowing firsthand what to do beforehand.

So, anyone know? Does the Ram matter? mine is:

Download the latest F3K BIOS for MA790FXT-UD5P.

Find the "EC Firmware for Advanced Clock Calibration" under the ACC menu.

Select the "hybrid" mode, and your 4th core will be unlocked.
