Time for another one of my polls. This time its to determine the best chipset manufacturer. This poll applies for both AMD and Intel platforms. Again, price should not matter in this poll; only performance.
Best Chipset Manufacturer
If I missed any, feel free to reply.
NVIDIA definently has their ducks in a row, the chipset is very good, even though it is with an 'inferior' processor. Just wait about a year, they will be top dog in the video market again (though I would buy an NVIDIA over an ATI regardless).

I would guess he just means it's time AMD comes out with a new cpu core design/revision. At least one that doesn't have to use vague product naming convention.
As the world seems to agree on (however I do not, hence the ''s) the AXP's are no longer a power to be rekoned with. So the NFORCE2 is able to use the processor to its best abilities, and create performance out of an 'obsolete' chip.
NOTE: I use 'things' like 'these' around 'words' that have a 'special' meaning, like what everybody but me and a select few believe. If the newspaper says SARS is Cool, I'll write: And as we know, SARS is 'cool' so we shouldn't worry about it.

Oh I see. Well I think the world is giving up the XP a little to easy and AMD is making some stupid mistakes with their PR rating... if they had upped the speed for the Barton 3000+ and 3200+ instead of running it lower then the T-bredBs then it still would be able to compete with the P4.
But AMD wants to slowly phase out the XP to make room for the Athlon 64... I hope it will be a succes.
My CPU fan spins so fast that it creates a wormhole
If September is the lucky month for AMD, then Athlon 64 may be a success. Athlon "Classic" was released in September, AMD fixed problem with T-bred "A" around septermber.
