Hello everyone,
Bit of a problem here; my computer, after working nearly flawlessly for 3 months (homebuilt) just started shutting itself off with no warning during game-play and while browsing after transporting back to my house. It had a blue-screen and a couple hiccups while home which I attributed to driver errors, which I then updated and had no more problems.
These shut-offs came without errors or blue-screens and I'm wondering if my power supply is to blame. I completely disassembled and reassembled to make sure there were no jiggled wires/connections/whatever.
Without wasting any more time, would it be prudent to head out and buy a power supply to test on the rig before I try to send this one in under warranty?
If you're wondering, the PS in question is a PC Power and Cooling Silencer 610 EPS12V.
Thanks for your time.
