Hey Guys,

Not sure where else to post this, so, sorry if it's in the wrong spot.

I don't know much about building or PC components, and I want to buy a good system for the future.

Would this be a decent buy:

?

Thanks,

Quik answer: no

Long answer:

Seems a bit overpriced to me @ a thousand bucks....
CPU is fine
Mobo is simply OK. Asus and Gigabyte boards are much better
HD is fine
Memory is probably OK
Avoid Ultra PSUs like the plague
If you like the Ultra case....

For my money, with much better components:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... - cpu
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... - memory
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... - hd
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... - psu
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... - case

Total: $949.95 with better hardware.
Throw in a good video card, ATI 4870 1gb or Nvidia 260 216 and you have a system thats tough to beat for a decent price.
