How to make game profiles with catalyst control center

im new to ati and ccc, and im trying to play gears of war and in the game there is enable v-sync but it doesnt work i still get tearing so i go into ccc and set wait for vertical sync to always on but it still have tearing. i know with the nvidia control panel you can make custom profiles for games and i was wondering how to do that with ccc. i want to play gears but tearing gives me a headache. so any help would be great and thanks
