You name it i'll probally be doing it. Except for vidoe encoding. Heavy gaming, developer, server, get beer from the fridge....ect. Also plan on hooking this up to a 46 samsung tv (ln46a650).

Probally won't do overclocking untill I can find myself a solid heat sink. Wish my darn tunic tower 120 could get reused :(

Any thoughts guys?

More about : kubes build

Very nice build, man. The only differences between our builds are I'm going 1000W Antec, and an Antec Nine Hundred. Other than that, my choices are the same. I'm going with the Noctua 1366 socket heatsink, and am going to be doing some medium OCing. Also, I am going with an Acer 24". Regardless, have fun with your build!

AHHHH going to the top of the mountain. I am debating the GTX 295 also, I am looking for someone to run the special on the GTX 280 like buy.com did $221.00 each then I will go SLI but still waiting. My build is all in route accept for the GPU. PATIENTS PATIENTS PATIENTS its killing me

yah I hear ya, If i remember correctly you had a pretty good looking rig. Yes the gtx 280 is a better buy right now. At least from a price vs preformance ratio. I've highly thought about just going with the 280 because the 295 doesn't have native support for dx11. But i've waited long enough i figure to do an upgrade (upgrading from 8800gtx - Giving this to the gal to upgrade her card from an old). Plus I crank on my comp pretty hard at times and I don't want the graphics card to be the bottleneck.
