I have the option of getting 1066 corsair dominator which only runs one dimm per channel or 800 dual channel.

I'm assuming the dual channel is the way to go, but how great a performance increase would it be? Is the difference negligible?

Memory ( 4 GB [2 GB X2] DDR2-1066 PC2 8500 Memory Module Corsair Dominator )
Video Card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 2GB w/DVI + TV Out Video )
