Heres the deal my motherboard is ASUS M4A79 Deluxe AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD and my processor is AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor Model HDZ955FBGIBOX. From what I have been told I can have only 2 sticks of ddr2 1066 ram while the other 2 sticks have to be ddr2 800 in this setup for some reason i don't quite understand. My question is would I be better off mixing 1066 and 800 for max performance or should i buy 8 gigs of 800

This pc will be for gaming and i want 8 gigs of ram just so i don't have to buy more later i realize games will play fine with 4 gigs but i want 8 unless i would be better off at 4 at at 1066
