I cannot get a POST with an eBay purchased new ATI x1300 Pro AGP on my Asus A7V8X-X, BIOS 1012, Athlon XP 2400. A Radeon 7000 AGP runs fine. I had a 300wt PS, so I purchased a new Antec Earthwatts 430 PS, assuming it was a power issue. Still No POST. Dead in the water.
I did try the DVI-VGA adaptor and got a brief CMOS screen for about 5 seconds, then it popped off and never returned. I've tried disconnecting all drives, but no change. ATI notes that the x1300 Pro has POST problems with some Dell PCs but this is not a Dell. I am stumped. Any ideas???

applejacker if you can put it in another pc and try that.it sound like you may have gotten bad video card on ebay.

my word of advice:never buy any electronic on ebay you never know what some people will sell you.
