Hello,

I have a question regarding the 1.65v limit on the memory, I was wondering if it is better to leave this setting in the bios to auto or should I just set it to something less then 1.65v. I am asking this because I want to know if i set it to auto will it go over 1.65v or am I safe. The motherboard I am using is an Asus P6T Deluxe V2 with the 920 core i7. This is my first build so I don't want to damage anything as stated in the warning.

One more thing. I installed windows 7 64bit build 7100 and I notice that after the windows boot up screen is done it takes very long time to get to the login screen. Between the windows bootup screen and the login screen it stays blank for well over 20 seconds. Is there a reason it is taking so long? Sorry If I asked this question in the wrong forum but I didn't want to start a new thread.

Thanks in advance.

Auto will probably be 1.5, actually, assuming you left all of the memory settings on default. What memory do you have?

I have the

G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory

I have not changed any of the settings they are all default. The only thing I changed was DRAM bus voltage to about 1.60v which i will probably change back to auto if you say that it stays at 1.50v
