Hi, Everyone
I have aquired a Big Water SE kit and it comes with a LGA775 compatable water block. I have an Athlon II x3 on an AM3 socket and i want to know if it would be a good idea to mod it to fit on my Athlon II to save some money. or will it take no mod at all, will it work on my board.

Get in touch with the vendor and ask them for an Am3 block, intels wont fit on yours, not even if you duct tape it on :p

As far as I know, seperate blocks cost a couple of Dollars/Pounds and for some reason most W/c kits are shipped with Intel blocks, they squeeze a couple extra coins out of you for saving money by going Amd imo hehe
as for third party blocks, you can get one, but make sure the barb sizes are the same, or its leak city for you :p
