I have recently bought a new Motherboard(XFX 750a SLI) but it refuses to boot (It does not give a post beep hance it does not boot) now i checked all the jumper settings but i also noticed that the IO panel is not working it may well be the PSU because it only has an extra 4 pin PCI express power connector but the motherboard wants an extra 8-pin PCI Express connector. I cant find an adaptor but the guy at the shop said it should still work... any ideas? any solutions? HELP!!! .

The "guy at the shop" was right. 4pin or 8pin AUX CPU power connector will work.

The only idea I have now - can you please list all your parts?

XFX GeForce 9500 GT 256mb PCIE
2GB dynet 800MHz DDR2
D-Link air plus xtreme G wireless networking
350W PSU (i dont know what it is i think its a Generic one)

Im very confused If its not the PSU the last mobo was shot cause of a stud behind the chipset its definently not the mobo now so im confused
