Really bad 3dMark Vantage score

I have just finished building my new gaming rig, and it runs like a dream, but when i try to get a 3d mark vantage score, it seems incredibly low.
im running a Intel Q9550@ 2.83Ghz
Palit HD4870 512mb
Corsair TWIN2X4096-8500C5D 4GB
DFI LANPARTY-UT X48-T2R
2x seagate 500gb sv35 hdd
Antec 900 case
and im running vista home premium 64 bit edition

I ran3d mark, and got a score of 6096 3d marks. Just wanted to know if anybody would know why im registering such a crappy score

that seems like a normal score for vantage to me, what kind of score did you expect? in vantage you can also run benchmarkes in 3 different modes the score will say which on by a letter infront or behind the score.

You probally have it in preformance mode.
