Ijstalling a printer

Hello,
Cannot install both hp laser 1012 and hp psc 1210 all- in-one printer to Windows XP professional, version 2002 Service pack 2. Pentium 4 CPU 200Ghz, 224 MB of RAM

One of the things that hangs you up is the antivirus or firewall being turned on when you are installing the software.
Another is setting the default printer
if you click start, control panel, printers and faxes, you can set which printer is going to start when you click print.
Look there for a list of the available printers
The printer you want to use should have a green check mark, if it does not have the check mark, it's not going to work.
