I've ordered a Corsair H50 (Super pumped about it, no pun intended) but I can't figure out by looking at the picture where to plug it into the Motherboard.

I ordered a Gigabyte GA-890XA-UD3: On newegg Here

Can any experienced builder help me find out where i'll be plugging it in? I don't want to get building, and end up staring blankly at a bunch of Fan headers...

Look for the CPU fan header on the motherboard, you should see a small 4 pin header that says "CPU". The second connector (PUMP) can go on any of the other headers that you may have available.

How do you know if what's throttled? Just install the cooler and fire up the PC ;)

The pump requires that it have full power 100% of the time. The fan attached to the radiator can be throttled by the bios, but the pump can't be..

I found a few headers on the board (duh :p) including the ones you were talkin' about. I guess i'll just plug it in and see what happens :D

And thanks for the help, i appreciate it OvrClkr
