hi, just wanting to know what is the recommended PSU wattage at this time? i plan to install a liquid cooling system for my Q6600 revision G0 and OC it to 3.5Ghz. i'm using HX620W corsair. what PSU should i step up to? Antec truepower quattro 1000W, gigabyte odin GT 1200W or thermaltake toughpower 1500W?

A good quality 350W PSU should be fine for what you have listed.

Based on the very limited information in your post you are definitely in overkill mode.

Please list the rest of you pc components.
Are you a hardcore gamer?
Are you using mutiple video cards in SLI or Crossfire mode?
Why are you interested in a 1,000 watt power supply?

I run 4 folding machines with 1 1500W PSU... and they all have an 8800GTX and overclocked Q6600 each. So from the very limited info you've given us, that's hugely overkill.

~650W would be perfect if you planned on getting a dual-GPU card, 450W if not.

I agree with the other replies, your current Corsair HX620 PSU should be fine for the hardware you have listed and your planned overclock.
