License Copying Problem in WMP

I have a legal downloaded music file from Puretracks. I'm
SUPPOSED to be able to copy to a mobile device, so long as
it's done through WMP, which transfers the license with
the file.

But when I try to copy it, I get an error message that
the "license associated with the file restricts it". WMP
recognizes the device (Viewsonic PocketPC V37), I've been
able to copy non-protected files no problem. But there's
some sort of issue with the licensing that SHOULDN'T be an
issue!! Any help?
