:hello: Hello, this is my first post...

The reason i joined this forum is because i wanted to ask if there was a simple guide getting a diskless pc to start on my home lan network using the "boot from lan" feature in the bios (which it supports). There is no server pc on the network but ive seen it done wihtout one. I dont know much about this and i want to figure out how to configure the other home pc to act as a server for the diskless one (its on windows vista). If you can, be as detailed as possible.... :)

Hi johnysums, someone else here may help you set up a network for your planned LAN boot function. But I do know this: you'll need a computer for your PC to draw the boot software from.
