I am currently planning my next build and it will be purchased a little at a time. My question is as far as liquid cooling, would it be better to build a stand for my radiator next to the pc and cool it this way rather than mounting it on the case and using the warmer air from the case to flow over it? I don't plan on moving my pc once it is built.

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

Both are fine, but I think that is better next to ur rig and not in the top of this.

I've been thinking about this lately too! All you would need to do is make brackets to attatch it the radiator on the computer case so that it does not suck in exhaust.

My thoughts exactly, and thank you for the welcome. Once I am ready to do this, I may have to dive into my old cases and make one from that.
