Razer Goliathus speed or control

Which should i get the Razer Goliathus speed or control version? I play FPS mostly.

Is this true that the speed version actually has more friction between the mouse and the pad because the weaves are so tight so more of each other are in contact with each other making it harder to move, so there for its suitable for high sensitvity users as low sensitivity users would have to move the mouse alot with a lot of effort to get movement./

And the Control one not as tightly weaven so theres holes/pits with less contact with the mouse and pad so it can slide better and therefore better for users which like low sensitivity because they dont have to move there hands with much effort to move the screen(in a fps.)

Just get a Logitech G5 with adjustable weight, then you don't have to worry about the surface tension.
