Password on portable drive

I have couple of portable drives that have software and such on them. Is there a way too put certain rights on the drive so that people cannot edit or delete it with out those correct permissions. More so AV because one i plug my drive into a computer that running symmatec all key gens and scripts such get picked up

Yes, you can put permissions on specific folders and programs on flash drives.

Here is a suite that you can put on a flash drive that has a multitude of apps.
You don't need the suite but this is an example.

Here is a great portable anti-virus you can install on a flash drive.

You can't really hide things from an AV unless you encrypt the drive.

If you want to Encrypt the drive you can use.
