Ok, so i recently moved downstairs and my wireless adapter is getting 'very low' or no connection. I think this is because of the distance, and it's also under a desk.
If i bought a longer-distance router and moved my computer ontop of my desk would that fix the problem?
IF not, any other suggestions would be VERY helpfull!

Raise the router clear of furniture level. Try changing channels, especially if you can detect neighbouring wifi, move to one five stops from the strongest neighbour. Try changing channels anyway as the frequencies they represent work better or worse in different environments. Relocate cordless phone base or video sender away from computer and router.
