I've got a system problem I can't seem to track down. I'm hoping one of you can help.

Over the last few days, my system started hanging when I play games, which is sortof the mission of this machine, so it's frustrating. I'm using SpeedFan to track temperatures, and nothing's overheating. Perhaps you can help me work it out?

Asus P5N-D
Intel E8500
XFX Geforce 9800GTX+
4 gb RAM (2 x 2gb)
Onboard Audio (883)
Corsair TX650w PSU
Vista x64 SP1 w/ All Available Updates

I've updated all the drivers I have and ensured that the BIOS is set to default settings. I have not overclocked this rig either. I'm playing Left 4 Dead, World in Conflict and occasionally Far Cry 2. All three hang the system within 15 minutes of starting the game.

Any idea what's going on? Normal use (web browsing, e-mail, etc.) seems fine.
