Noob question on mounting Mobo

Hi all, starting my first build with an Antec 900 case and Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P Mobo. My question is I have 8 non-metallic washers that came with either the case or mobo hardware. Do these need to be used on the mobo mounting screws? I haven't seen any mention of them in the docs nor do I remember reading any threads here (been lurking for several months) that refer to them.

As long as you use the brass mounting screws, you don't need washers. Align the brass screws on the case under the motherboard screw holes and secure down the board.

Some mobo manufaturers supply felt washers to be used during installation, its purely preference if you use them or not.

I used them since they were there.

Thanks for the replies. I do have the brass spacers in as I have been reading enough here to know not putting them in is "bad". I had thought the felt washers were optional but needed to make sure.
