9800GTX+ is great for gaming, but you'd need a beefy PSU (preferably a 550W Corsair). By the way, 100th POST EVERYONE!! I'VE MADE 100 POSTS! :wahoo: :wahoo: LET'S CELEBRATE!!
You'll find that your P4 will somewhat bottleneck your awesome graphics card, it would be worth investing in a new mobo and CPU. 100 posts!!

We need more detailed specs. 350 isn't much to work with.

Case type?
Power supply?
RAM type (I am assuming DDR400)?

Also how many ide devices do you have as many boards only support 1 ide channel do to the switch over to sata?

For about 300 you can get a Phenom II x3 720, HD4830, 2GB of RAM and an ASRock 780G Mobo, but that doesn't leave much room for a PSU in the budget.

Yeah, you'd need room for a beefy, and quality Corsair PSU. Don't cheap out on the PSU!

I would suggest a cheap AM2+ mobo, an Athlon X2 7750, a Radeon 4830, and definitely get yourself a good PSU. PC Power and Cooling, Antec, and Corsair are all good choices. Grab at least a 550W.

You'll have to go SATA i'm afraid IDE is dead now. Maybe 1 port.
Recycle as much as you can (Case, etc.)

You can grab DDR2 pretty cheap.
