I have 2 1GB Asus 4850's with two crossfire briges as that seems the only way I can get anywhere with these.

OK anyway, I uninstalled all the drivers, done driver sweep and installed the latest catalyst drivers from ati.

The 2nd GPU doesn't get detected and only when I reinstall the display driver the crossfire option reappears and once I enable crossfire I get a VGA Adapter disabled error.

I'm totally stuck, if anyone can help me getting this second gpu going it would be great.

Don't have experience with CF, but try removing one of the bridges.

Yes I did put it in two blue slots.

It's fixed now, was troubles with the drivers over 8.10.

Installed CCC 8.10 and everythings working fine.

This is like so many nebulous answers to a question that needs answered with honesty. But, only get a murky bunch of baloney. Verify half of what you read. Some people think it's funny to run you around. It's almost lol the junk they spew out. There are many who are ligitimately trying to help, but beware. :bounce:
